Dr. Faraci is board certified pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He obtained a B.S. in Biology and Philosophy from Wagner College and then attended Ross University School of Medicine.
After completing his pediatric residency at State University of New York at Downstate Medical Center and at The Staten Island University Hospital he formed Comprehensive Pediatrics in 1984. Since then Dr. Faraci has served the community in both Brooklyn and Staten Island.
Dr. Faraci is fluent in English, Italian, Spanish and French.
Dr. Donati obtained his Bachelors of Arts from Muhlenberg College and then attended Ross University School of Medicine.
He completed his pediatric residency at Long Island College Hospital and at Beth Israel Medical Center. He joined Comprehensive Pediatrics in 2008.
Dr. Amit Dulabh is a board certified pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He obtained a B.A. in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Kentucky and graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. After completing his pediatric residency at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina, he joined Comprehensive Pediatrics in 2013.
Dr. Dulabh's medical interests include the early screening of anemia, preventative medicine, quality improvement, and patient advocacy.
Dr. Dulabh is fluent in Gujarti.
Dr. Mccarthy is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He obtained his B.S. in Biology from Fordham University and then completed his M.D. at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
After completing his residency at Beaumont Hospital in Ireland and at The University of Connecticut he joined Comprehensive Pediatrics in 1997.
Dr. Perlman is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases. After training, Dr. Perlman spent 7 years at Maimonides Medical Center as an attending in both Hospital Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases. With his expertise, he served as a Pediatric Epidemiologist, overseeing infection control and antibiotic distribution. Dr. Perlman was briefly in private practice as President of Brooklyn Pediatric Infectious Diseases. He joined Comprehensive Pediatrics in February 2014.
Dr. Perlman is experienced in all aspects of pediatric care from newborn to young adult and is an elected Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
His particular interests include infections in the immunocompromised patient, congenital infections, musculoskeletal infections, and travel medicine.
Dr. Pontrelli is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases. She has extensive experience in Pediatric Immunology. Dr. Pontrelli worked as an attending physician at Stony Brook University Hospital for 6 years. Before joining Comprehensive Pediatrics, she was Director of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Maimonides Medical Center for 7 years, and in private practice at Brooklyn Pediatric Infectious Diseases Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.
Dr. Pontrelli is very experienced in all aspects of infectious diseases in children including travel medicine. Some of her interests include disease prevention, MRSA skin infections and unusual features of common viral infections.
Dr. Sica obtained his B.S. in chemistry from Polytechnic University and completed his P.A. degree from Baley Seton. He is a clinical preceptor for Wagner and Hofstra PA programs for Wagner's NP program.
Dr. Sica is a member of the following of the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants), AAPA (American Academy of Physician Assistants), AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics), and the NYSSPA (New York State Society of Physician Assistants).
He joined Comprehensive Pediatrics in 1996.
Dr. Sionov obtained Bachelor of Arts from Brooklyn College. She then obtained her MD degree from the State University of New York at Downstate College of Medicine.
After completing her pediatric residency at the State University of New York at Downstate she joined Comprehensive Pediatrics in 2012.
Dr. Sionov is fluent in English and Russian.
Dr. Taylor obtained her Bachelors of Science and MD degree from the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education in 2006. In this highly competitive training program, she was among the top 10th percentile of her graduating class.
After completing her residency training at the State University of New York at Downstate Medical Center, Dr. Taylor joined Comprehensive Pediatrics in September 2009. Dr. Taylor is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
