Dr Alina Leshchiner finished her Medical School in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, and is fluent in the language. She completed her Residency at MSU/Sparrow Hospital, in Lansing Michigan. During Residency, she was awarded by the Program for her Professionalism and for being an outstanding Resident Teacher. She was also Chief Resident and received an award for this as well. Her references through the Residency Program are outstanding and has become an asset to Comprehensive Pediatrics in the same manner. 

As a Board-Certified Pediatrician, Dr Alina has a passion for healthcare and takes great pride in ensuring all her patients receive the best care available. 

When Dr Alina is not working, she enjoys writing short fiction stories. In 2020, one of her novels was published in Russia. She also enjoys cooking, ballroom dancing, and experiencing other cultures. Dr Alina once told us at Comprehensive Pediatrics, “every house that I lived in, taught me how to handle food in a special way – Arabic, Spanish, French etc. Arriving home, I would always try to reproduce the dishes from available produce.”
